Glenda Harrell resides in a one-bedroom apartment, one of 84 spacious homes located at the new Myrtle Terraces in Gainesville, Georgia. The property hosts a beautifully landscaped courtyard, community garden with water feature, picnic pavilion and grilling area. Seniors living at Myrtle Terraces can take advantage of the on-site beauty and barber shop, television lounge with juice bar, business center, library, large community room, activity and game rooms, on-site laundry facility and a sundry shop.

Designed to support healthy living, the community has a fitness center, wellness/home healthcare office, walking trails and a pet walk area, all conveniently located near the 8-acre city park.

Glenda decorated her apartment much like the home she lived in before moving to Myrtle Terraces. She loves her spacious bedroom, bathroom and kitchen and was pleasantly surprised with the laminate flooring and large cabinets. “I have invited people to come over to tour Myrtle Terraces, to see where I live and they love it. Many of the senior citizens from my church want to live at Myrtle Terraces; they think it is just wonderful. I feel like it is a family here at Myrtle Terraces. I just love it.”
