JES Holdings Volunteers at the Atlanta Community Food Bank

On Friday, April 1, the JES Holdings’ Atlanta office volunteered at the Atlanta Community Food Bank. The group sorted through 7,928 pounds of food which would serve approximately 5,696 meals to Atlanta families in need.

JES Holdings and its family of companies have supported the Atlanta Community Food Bank since our southeastern region office opened in 2005. The local food bank procures more than 60 million pounds of food each year and distributes to more than 600 nonprofit partner agencies in the metro Atlanta and north Georgia area. In addition to food distribution, the food bank strives to fight hunger by engaging, educating and empowering the Atlanta community through a variety of fundraising events, including the Hunger Walk/Run held on Sunday, March 13.
