  • After using the bathroom or changing a diaper
  • Before and after preparing food

How to Wash Your Hands Properly

  1. Start by wetting your hands with clean, running water.
  2. Lather your hands with soap for 20 seconds.
  3. Rub hands together and across all surfaces of your hands and wrists.
  4. Rinse all traces of soap off of your hands.
  5. Dry your hands thoroughly.
