Affordable Historic Renovation Brings New Life to Greensboro, Georgia
In celebration of Earth Day on April 22, 2017, Hannah Solar hosted a Georgia Corporate Green Day Challenge. Corporations teamed up with different farms, parks, community gardens, nature reserves and recycling centers to do their part to give back to the planet.
Mary-Leila Lofts in Greensboro, Georgia, was mentioned in Hannah Solar’s Earth Day announcements, as Mary-Leila Lofts, “showcases the importance of having a solar installer involved with the development from the beginning. Hannah Solar was able to provide key input on how to keep the project installation costs as low as possible,” says Shan Arora, program manager of policy at Southface. According to Arora, because of the PV system at Mary-Leila Lofts that is interconnected to Georgia Power Company, Mary-Leila Lofts has achieved considerable energy savings since the system’s installation in June of 2016.
