Ashton Village Honors Children’s Dental Health Awareness Month

Ashton Village, a Fairway Management family community located in Pevely, Missouri, recently hosted an event to celebrate Children’s Dental Health Awareness Month.
Lexi Roemer, Social Services Coordinator for Ashton Village, organized a partnership with the Jefferson County Health Department and arranged for the Smiles To Go mobile dental van to come to Ashton Village.
Residents received a preview of the van and parents asked questions and signed their children up for services.
“I am very excited that the children can have their dental needs taken care of on the property, as many of them are not receiving dental care at school where they previously did. I also plan to open up this service to the entire Pevely community so all children have access to the dental care that they need in our surrounding area,” Lexi said.
The dental van can service children from 2 months old through 19 years old. They will be coming back on upcoming Saturdays to get the appointments and treatments taken care of and then will visit every six months after that.
