Fairway Management Columbia Communities Sponsor VAC Family
Three of our Fairway Management senior communities in Columbia, Missouri, displayed their generous holiday spirits this year by sponsoring a local family in the Boone County area through the Voluntary Action Center. The VAC’s annual holiday program matches groups and businesses with families in need to help provide these families with needed clothing, household supplies and gifts. According to their website, the VAC will assist 948 families in the Boone County area this year.
Residents from Gentry Estates, Bethel Ridge Estates and Sinclair Estates donated a total of $630 to buy gifts and necessities for their VAC family! With this money, the communities were able to provide the below items for the family:
- Four pairs of jeans
- Four pairs of boots
- Two winter coats
- Four craft activities
- Two polaroid cameras with film
- Socks
- Underwear
- Two stocking caps
- Two makeup sets
- An air fryer
- Hand towels
- Bath towels
- A decorative photo frame
