In recent times, Fairway Management has realized the importance of tapping into community resources to help our residents in need. Especially as grocery stores, transportation resources and local agencies were closing down due to COVID-19, this has been especially crucial. The staff at Bethel Ridge Estates, Gentry Estates and Sinclair Estates partnered with The Food Bank for Central & Northeast Missouri and were able to provide food for over 100 households in Columbia, Missouri. Everyone from the residents, maintenance staff, our shuttle driver and managers chipped in to pick up and distribute food to the doors of those 100-plus residents.
The properties also partnered with Forum Christian Church over one weekend to provide fresh produce and dairy to the residents. The camaraderie and selfless acts in a time of need and uncertainty is priceless and something that will never be forgotten. We will continue striving to serve our residents all aspects of their needs. When we say, “We’re in this together,” we mean just that!
