Ironton Estates Supports Local Community During the Holidays
Throughout the holiday season, Ironton Estates, a Fairway Management senior community located in Ironton, Missouri, had the opportunity to give back to two local organizations.
First, Ironton Estates residents and staff collected socks, coloring books, crayons, toys and craft items for their local Head Start, a child development program dedicated to breaking the cycle of poverty. Ironton Estates was able to supply these items as Christmas gifts for 15 different Head Start students!
Additionally, Ironton Estates residents and staff participated in the Missouri Department of Social Services backpack program to donate needed items to foster children. They gathered personal hygiene items, socks and toys to fill the backpacks with.
