On Saturday, February 27, 2016, JES Holdings participated in the 11th annual Rootin’ Tootin’ Chili Cook-Off to benefit the Boys and Girls Clubs of Columbia, Missouri. This is the 10th year that JES Holdings has participated and, to celebrate, the booth was Las Vegas themed. Metro Equipment Rental and the Chili Cook-Off Committee worked after-hours the entire week leading up to the event to construct models of the Bellagio Hotel and Casino, the Luxor Hotel & Casino, the Stratosphere Casino, Hotel & Tower, and JES Grand (modeled on the MGM Grand). The fundraising goal for the Rootin’ Tootin’ Chili Cook-Off was $85,000 for 2016 and the event raised over $100,000.
JES Holdings placed first in Best Booth, Best Costume and Biggest Bowl with a contribution of $12,400. In our company’s ten years of participation in the Rootin’ Tootin’ Chili Cook-Off, we are proud to have raised over $100,000 for the Boys and Girls Clubs of Columbia.
